Wedding Photo Books Part 1: Guest Book Photo Books
The summer months are the most popular months for weddings. If you, or someone you know, are planning a wedding you are aware of all of the details that go into making your wedding day special.
Have you thought about your Guest Book? Photo Books make great wedding Guest Books!
With a little pre-planning you can create a personally customized Guest Book. In addition to having a record of all of the attendees you will have a memorable record of some of the items used in the wedding as well as places where the events were held.
What pictures to include and how many are up to you. Perhaps you'd like to have a picture of the place where you exchanged your vows. A picture of your rings. Your champagne glasses. The garter. Your wedding invitation. Leave plenty of space for your guests to sign and have plenty of fine-point, Sharpie-style pens available.
Our photo book program allows your creativity to show as you design your Guest Book. Pictures can be large or small, full page, faded back. You can add titles or phrases on pages or leave them blank. The possibilities are endless.
Wedding Photo Books Part 2: Attendants' Photo Books
Many of you will be giving the attendants in your wedding a special momento in appreciation for all they have done for you and your future spouse.
Attendants' Photo Books might be the special gifts you've been looking for!
There are a few ways in which you can create Attendants' Photo Books for the participants in your wedding. One way is to create a photo book showcasing pictures of you and your attendants over the years. You can devote specific pages to each of your attendants as well as devote specific pages to any showers or parties you may have had. This photo book would be suitable for everyone in your bridal party.
Another idea for Attendants' Photo Books would be to create personalized versions for each of your attendants. To do this, create one common section of your book. The common section could include bridal shower and party pictures, shopping for and trying on dresses, as well as any other pictures in which all participants are present. You can then personalize each book by devoting a few pages in the front of the book to each attendant. Simply create one personalized photo book and save it. When you re-open your book you can change the personalized photos and re-save your book under a different name. Repeat this process for each of your attendants.
Another idea is to create entirely different photo books for each attendant.
Our photo book program allows easy personalization with the availability of customized captions and page layouts.
Wedding Photo Books Part 3: Pre-Wedding Memories
You have spent a lot of time planning your wedding day. You have taken care of some of the details; you have some ideas for attendants' gifts. Now it's time to focus on you and your future spouse.
Shutters will be 'clicking' away on your wedding day. You will have many versions of your big day in pictures from many different angles, many different photographers. Pictures of your big event will be plentiful. We'll talk more on that later.
Have you considered chronicling your pre-wedding events? All of the activities leading up to your vows can make a great photo book too. A pre-wedding photo book detailing these events can be a nice companion to your wedding book.
Our photo book program allows you to enter text as well as photos. You can recount how the 'big question' was popped. Sprinkle in photos and text of sharing your good news with your parents, your friends and family. Add some photos of dress shopping, tux shopping, bridal showers and couples parties. And remember to talk about picking the reception site, the menu, the music, the invitations and announcements. This might also be a good place to introduce your attendants as well. A good ending to your pre-wedding photo book might be pictures from your rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, if you have one.
Enjoy this special time in your lives.
Wedding Photo Books Part 4: The Big Event
You've spent much time and money preparing for your big day. How will you remember it once it has passed? A Wedding Photo Book that you create can be the perfect way to remember your big day!
There are a few ways in which to create your Wedding Photo Book. One way is to ask your photographers if they offer photo books in one of their packages. If they do not currently, Freeze Frame Publishing can assist them in printing a photo book containing their professionally taken photographs.
Another way you can create your Wedding Photo Book is to have lots of cameras available throughout your wedding day events. Place cameras on tables and let your guests snap pictures of your big day from their vantage points. Provide collection centers for the cameras near the exit areas when your guests leave. Have these pictures burned to CDs or other digital media. You now have many pictures, taken by your guests, to choose from as you create your own Wedding Photo Book.
Your guest-taken pictures can also be used to make "thank you" photo books. Or you can make individual prints of special photos to enclose in greeting cards at a later date!
Our photo book program is easy to use and can accommodate both text and pictures with limitless layout and background options.
Enjoy your special day. Enjoy the memories you create!
Wedding Photo Books Part 5: The Honeymoon
Ahhh... your big day has happened! Congratulations, Newlyweds!
Now is the time to settle in to your new life together, but for many of you, not before you take a honeymoon. Your honeymoon is your first vacation with your new spouse. In between relaxing and reflecting and settling in to your new life we hope you'll take some time to snap a few pictures.
A Honeymoon Photo Book would make a nice addition to your complete wedding story photo book collection.
Wedding Photo Books Part 6: Remember I Do
We have been talking about different ways in which to chronicle your wedding events: guest signature photo books; attendants' photo books; pre-wedding photo books; the big event photo books; and honeymoon photo books. Please see our past posts for more information on these photo books. You can also enter the word "weddings" in the search box at the top of this blog to see a full listing of wedding entries.
It's never too late for the 'already-marrieds' to create lasting memories of their wedding days and events surrounding their vows. Photo books have come to the fore in the past five years. There are more and more opportunities for you to create personal photo books blossoming every day.
Do you have a traditional wedding book tucked away safely in a closet or drawer, no longer readily available for perusing? Do you still have loose snapshots of your wedding events in photo lab envelopes or a 'picture drawer'? Why not create a new photo book to commemorate your wedding?
A personally created Remember I Do photo book would make a lovely gift for your parents, your friends and yourself.
Get your wedding album and wedding pictures out; reminisce with your spouse and loved ones as you choose pictures to use in building your Remember I Do photo book. If you choose pictures from your professionally created wedding album make sure to check your records or call the photographer to see if you can make copies of those pictures. Select your pictures, convert them to a digital format and start creating (or re-creating!) your wedding! It's that easy! You may even wish to dedicate a page or two to the two of you today!
